Weekend in Dallas

The Texas A&M/Arkansas game in Dallas is normally the last weekend of September, and we just happened to have soccer games in Dallas that same weekend.  However, we decided to change it up a bit and I was able to take the big girls to the football game and Jason took Camryn to her soccer game.

It was really special for me to have the girls at an A&M football game and for them to experience the traditions and feel of an Aggie football game.  I didn't win them over but hopefully showed them something special.

Before the game, I took the girls to get a Freebird

Thankful for the Cooks and the free ticket hook-ups

Addie was rooting for the Hogs and Taylor was neutral

Addie starting to realize that the tradition of Hog's losing was going to continue

A&M won!!

Then we were able all able to watch Camryn play on Sunday:
Another rough drive home

LPGA Golf

Got to play in the LPGA again this year and we had our first ever all girls GM team.  We played with the pro Jodi Ewart who is from England and had a nice day:

Day at the Lake

We found a day in September to head to the lake with the cousins.  The big girls had a blast on the tube and got thrown around a lot by Uncle Josh:

The two younger ones were not as adventurous

Home Razorback Game in September

We got to go to a home Razorback game against UAB in September.  We had a great time tailgating and at the game:

I ran into my favorite GM girls

Nelly Concert

I was able to go to the Nelly concert with General Mills, and it was an incredible night!  I have always told people that when you stay with a company for 22 years, you get some great hook-ups because the friends that you started with move up with the company, and sometimes you get the benefit of their high levels!  Well, that happened for me with the Nelly concert.  Our office got back-stage passes, dinner with Nelly and a chance to actually meet Nelly.  Two of my besties are directors now, and they took me with them and it was absolutely amazing!!!

We first got to meet Nelly and take pictures with him:

Then we had a dinner where Nelly was on the panel with the head of Walmart grocery, our table was in the front!

Then we had back-stage passes:

We then headed to our front row seats and lived our best life out there!
I had a pretty great time!

This was also the day I found out that General Mills had divested the Yogurt business and had sold 400+ employees with the divesture, and I was one of them.  I literally cried for four hours that day but decided to pull myself together and enjoy the concert.  It was a good distraction and a lot of fun.
