We planned a visit to Georgia at the end of our Christmas vacation to meet our brand new little nephew Jameson! Since we were going to Atlanta, we decided to make a vacation out of it and stay there for six days to see all of our family and friends.
| There were A LOT of schedules to coordinate, so we actually made a schedule for the week |
Since we were pretty flexible in the timing, we went standby and all five of us made it on the first flight to ATL.
Our first stop was to visit with the Kothari family! Love catching up with my sweet friend Tanya from high school. We love her husband Raj and their precious boys Nik & Chase.
| Lots of marriage options in this group |
| We laughed at how cute they were together |
| We stayed in a hotel during the first half of our visit and Addie loved it |
We then headed to meet baby Jameson! We couldn't get over how adorable he was! The girls loved holding their brand new cousin.
| Uncle Justin is a daddy!! |
| The girls also enjoyed playing with the dogs and hanging out in Justin & Katie's backyard |
| They are already such amazing parents!!! |
| Wanted to sneak this little guy back home with me |
After hanging out with Justin, Katie and baby Jameson for two days, we headed to go visit the Johnson family. On the way to their house, Jason took the family on a little tour around his old stomping ground.
| He's acting cool but he was so excited to show us around |
| The houses he grew up in |
| Where all the magic happened in football |
| A pond that Jason and Josh used to fish in |
The Johnson's were a big part of Jason's high school years. I really enjoyed hearing old stories about Jason from them, they are amazing people!
| Visiting in their living room |
| The girls played with Lego's while we visited |
After we visited with the Johnsons, we went to Jason Johnson's house and spent the night with his family:
| The kids had a lot of fun playing together |
| Making brownies |
| High School besties and their kids |
On Saturday, we met up with the Jackson family at Cracker Barrel! It was so great to see Joyce, Jeremy and Jacob and their families. We also got to see Justin and Katie again as well. We love all of them so much and it had been way too long since we've seen them.
| Aunt Joyce is the best and loved on our girls so sweetly |
| The whole crew |
| Aunt Joyce spoiling the girls with goodies |
We were supposed to see Eric Rhodes and his family before heading up to Alto, but he couldn't make it work so we headed to the Georgia Aquarium for a few hours.
We spent the last few days up in Alto Georgia to visit with Jammy & Papa Epps. They just moved into their new home so that was fun to see everything they had done to the new place and celebrate New Years with them.
| Dinner out the first night in town |
All the girls loved seeing Shadow again. Poor girl, she could barely get away from these Epps girls.
We then celebrated Christmas and opened presents:
| Papa wanted the girls ready for the big game on New Year's Day |
We then drove out to Buford to see all of the projects Papa works on for his job:
| Papa's name on the wall, he's a big deal around here!!! |
| Playing with the poppers on New Year's Day |
Jan and Dennis had all of their close friends over for their annual New Year's Day party:
| Aunt Cindy spoiling the girls |
| New Year's Day guests |
| Ready for the big game |
| Georgia won! |
| Jammy also planned a time for us to sing happy birthday to Camryn |
It was a jam-packed week in Georgia but so great to catch up with our amazing family and friends!
