Easter Weekend

We had an eventful Easter weekend!  On Friday night, we celebrated Erik's birthday and had dinner in Fayetteville.  Saturday morning, we went to an Easter Egg hunt at the Nazarene Church by our house.  This is also the place where Paityn goes to Preschool so it was fun to get together with family for the Egg Hunt!
A gym packed of people for the community egg hunt

They had a little show (which turned out to be a little corny)

Being silly with Paityn

All the kids were split up according to age group, so we divided and conquered during the egg hunt.  Josh and I went with Cooper and Camryn and they got a ton of eggs.
Jason went with Taylor:
And Tara went with Addie and Paityn:
They also had goats and chickens to pet, and hot dogs for lunch.

That afternoon, we went to Fayetteville to celebrate Walker's 4th birthday!  They had a Ninja Turtle themed egg hunt!

Camryn loved that Turtle mask and wore it all the way home

We watched a movie that night and then the kids headed to bed:

Josh, Tara, the kids and Leidy came over Sunday afternoon for an egg hunt and dinner.
We had 120 eggs to hide

We had to have the egg hunt inside since it had been raining all morning:

Silver Dollar City

We took off work on the Thursday of Spring Break to take the girls to Silver Dollar City.  We always take the 412 way there because it is the most straight path, however, that did not seem to help us on this trip.  Within the first hour, Taylor's stomach started to hurt and within a few minutes, she was puking into her puke bag (we did plan ahead on that ONE thing).  I started frantically telling Jason to pull over so that she could get some fresh air, and within a minute, Camryn started puking all over herself.  It was a disaster!  We pulled over on a dirt road, got Camryn down to a diaper and attempted to clean off her car seat.
I had forgotten to pack extra clothes so she had to drive the last hour with a towel and bib on her.  We missed the exit for Walmart so got her a discounted outfit at Cracker Barrel.
We painfully made it to SDC but had an awesome time!  Taylor loved riding the roller coasters, and the girls had a blast!
The crazy Cracker Barrel outfit

Camryn was a little scared of Lucky the dog in Fireman's Landing

She was pooped out from all the fun

We ended up getting season passes and hope to be back there very soon!

Easter Bunny

Another year of torture for one of the Epps girls.  Camryn quickly recovered and was waving goodbye to the Easter Bunny!  I rewarded the girls with a few rides in the mall and a meal from Chick Fil A.

No hard feelings Mommy!!!
