My Uncle Jordan passed away in February and his Celebration of Life got scheduled the weekend before we went to Colorado for Spring Break. I honestly didn't think I would be able to pull it off, but the thought of missing it just didn't feel right so I made it work. The flights were ridiculous so I decided to fly in Thursday so that I could spend a day with Joey and his family, then head to Jimmy's and spend time with my dad, Jimmy & Ouida. While funerals and these types of events are very sad, the blessing in all of it is being reunited with family which is very special.

After Joey's house, my dad picked me up and we were able to spend the next day with Jimmy and Ouida. It was a lot of fun to catch up with my dad and them. We headed to Jordan's Celebration of Life on Saturday and I was able to reconnect with a lot of family that I hadn't seen in over 14 years!
