Fishing - Addie & Jason

Instead of a birthday breakfast with Daddy, Addie requested a fishing morning with just the two of them.  So, Jason and Addie headed up to the Elk River for a morning of fishing the week of her birthday.

Janet Jackson Concert

I've been in love with Janet Jackson ever since I was a kid.  It was taken to an all new level when we won the state championship in high school with her song IF, so it was definitely a bucket list concert for me!

Kanukuk Kamp Out

This was the first year that we could send all of the girls to Kanukuk Kamp Out!  It was a great week for them.  Camryn started out a little rough and didn't love it but everyone was happy by mid-week!

Camryn was our first girl to win a Bumble Bee award!!!

Jason and I got to go to the awards ceremony and it was hilarious to see our girls being carried by their leaders:

A few funny stories about Addie - 

• One day I was in sort of a bad mood and she asked me "Mom, are you in a bad mood because your bagina is bleeding?"
• Addie was really excited when she met someone at school and she really liked him.  She talked about him everyday.  Then, a week later she said "Well, I found out that the boy I like, Jacob, likes my friend Fernanda."  I told her I was sorry and asked her how she was doing.  She replied "Oh well, guess I got to find someone else to like" and shrugged her shoulders

Addie's 8th Birthday

For Addie's 8th birthday, she gave up a big birthday party so that we could go see Taylor Swift.  However, we still let her have a few friends over to make some slime.
